Hello,

I'm own a Devo 7e using deviation since spring time. It's rellay great!

So far I was using the latest release 4.0.1. Yesterday I desiced to update to the latest nightly build (92e1705).

I backuped my modelfils/icons/tx.ini and uploaded the latest dfu file. Then a copied all files to the filesystem of the tx.

So far everything went well.

But now I have a problem, I can't delete / modify / replace the hardware.ini. I have to enable moded switches and modules, but the hardware.ini is empty. If I try to modify it, I get an error I have no write permission. If I try to delete it and press F5, it's back again.

I used 2 PCs to check (Win 8.1 / Win7) on both it's the same.

Is the hardware.ini some how protected by the firmware even in USB-Storage-Mode?

The tx is working, but of cause without the additional moduls/protocols and switches.

Did someone else saw this behavior befor? What's to do?

THX
Ben

On the 7e you need to reformat the USB drive after you use DFUse. After the DFUSE update, power on the TX while pressing the ENT button, then use the windows format command to format the USB drive. Then you can copy over the file system. It's not entirely clear in the instructions, but I always do the format and don't see any problems.
