FDR is right - that's a dangerous machine you're trying to fly. While it's possible to start on that, the people who do do it with over a year of time flying a properly configured simulator, followed by another year of flying with a buddy box.
You can buy a small, cheap copter for less than the damage a blade strike with the v18g01 will do to your wallet. You can get lots of suggestions here.
