Anyhow I've found an icon for the x5c-1 by Durete, thankyou and can only think that there is a model file somewhere out there but I cannot find it. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be most greatfull.
Jerry.

I think you only need to change the name, and the icon file.
FMOD0. Low rates, and limited to 90% with Expo. (for slow flying capturing video)
FMOD1. High rates.
HOLD1. Flip Mode on.
Throttle trim down. Start/stop video.
Throttle trim down. Take picture.
Enjoy it!!!

2.4G NRF24L01 PA LNA Wireless Module 16*32mm (from Banggood)
No + on the description, so that could be my problem.
Just refuses to bind, just sits there with the dialogue box "binding to X5C-1".
My JJRC H8C which uses the same module binds fine as does my Hubsan X4s using the A7105 module.
If then this NRF module is the problem and I changed it to the + module would it have an effect on my JJRC H8C?

Not sure about the pinout. Likely the same but best to check.

Btw, the pinout of these 8pin modules are nearly "standart".

Does it have a Quad or an Heli at the LCD when you turn on?
IMHO, your nRF24L01 module is ok, it's the same I have installed and I can fly my X5C (old version), X11 and X11C without any trouble.
What Deviation version do you have installed?

I'm still wondering is it because my X5 is the new version, I belive the camara function button on the controller has changed from the older one.
I also read on here somewhere that the new ones use a different protocol than the old ones but alot of the details went waaaaaaay over my head.

The most important question...
What version do you have installed at your Devo 7E?
You need one of the latest version of Deviation Tx team, better the last build from Hexfet at the Syma X11 protocol thread.

We found the problem
These build don't have the Syma X5C-1, X11, X12 protocol
Install the latest build from Hexfet at the Syma X11 protocol thread.

And when opened I have a .dfu file plus a protocol folder.
Just so I don't cock it up I take it I install the .dfu file with the defuse application and copy and paste the protocol folder over the original folder in the devo's drive.
(I'm still on a learning curve here)
