Hi *,

I just flashed my DEVO-10 with deviation-devo10-v4.0.1 and wanted to use it with HELI-X 5.0. I started with the Phoenix.ini posted by MWM ( deviationtx.com/forum/model-configs/2013...-10-on-phoenix#12412 ), chose USBHID protocol in the model settings and connected the DEVO to my PC (running Ubuntu 14.01) via the usb cable.
No joystick devices show up in the system. Tried the same with Windows 7 Pro running on VMWare Player without any success.
I have attached my model1.ini file.
What am I doing wrong?

Rgds, Seurat

This sounds like a system problem, not a deviationTx problem. You need to troubleshoot your USB drivers. Do you get anything at all on ubuntu?

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

Hi mwm,

I have a PPM2USB dongle from ModellKraft that works flawlessly with deviation PPM & Heli-X! That is why I believe there must be some problem with my deviation Tx USBHID setup.
What I have done:
  • Set model protocol to USBHID
  • Press ENTER on Re-Init 2 times

# lsusb -v -s 001:017

OK, the OS sees a Joystick in FS mode.

I notice it implements only channels, no buttons. Why is this?

I guess I was missing the Re-Init step!

Problem solved!
Thnx.
