Safety value was created by Epitaph
Hi guys!!
I'm setting up an unusual quad on my 7E, with an Orange DSMX receiver hardsoldered to the flight controller, which in doing so I had to change the order of channels (Elevator=Ch1, Throttle=Ch2, Rudder=Ch3 & Aileron=Ch4). I have already redirected the channels so they output to these on the receiver, but every time I turn the radio on, it keeps telling me that channel 1 is at 0% and the safety value is -100%. I've been all through the menus to take this off because it's annoying, but I just can't seem to take it off or reassign the safety to channel 2. I've tried all combinations in the MIXER menu with the setting of safety value, and actually they are all on <NONE>, but it is still coming up.
How do I either reassign it to channel 2 or just completely turn it off?

If you can look at your Modelxx.ini in notepad you may be able to see where it is rather than paging through all the setting.
I'm not sure if I would be able to recognize it but if you post it maybe someone could see were the issue is. I'm curious to see if I would be able to know what I was looking for anyway, as someone new to Deviation.
Hope you get it figured out soon!

I haven't added any dual rates or anything yet, all I have is the channels redirected to their new outputs.
If you could have a look to see if you can find what it is, it will be very much appreciated!!

I tried this in the emulator and I see what you are saying. It seems that channel 2 is defaulted to -100 but channel 1 is what it's looking for to be -100 by assigning throttle to ch1. When I set channel 1 to -100 then bind it works. When I restart the emulator it defaults back to 0. Have you tried this in you transmitter or just emulator?

Glad you got it working. (especially since the tl;dr was wrong - should be THR=min as the original post said)

OK so if I get this right, now all the safeties are off, but if I change it from AUTO=min to THR=min, then it will come up safety when the throttle (in this case channel 2) is not at -100%...
I'll try that out tomorrow and let you know!!

It is ever so frustrating that changing a protocol would mess up with the channel ordering...

It's very simple to change... if it is clean (empty) model, but if you change protocol for already configured model = very complex task.

It wasn't hard to change, it was just a case of the minimum throttle value, as the radio had it preset for where Spektrum throttle is, and couldn't figure out how to change that preset value.
