What is the minimum voltage for Devo 8S? was created by luenma

Hi, I am using in my Devo 8S 4 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. I am not sure about the value I should put for the battery alarm in the transmitter config menu. What is the minimum recommended voltage for Devo 8S transmitter?

the minimum voltage is actually dependent on battery chemistry. For operation, I recommend >4.0V. Too much below that and the flash memory will not write reliably. I think that is a good number for Alkaline batteries since their voltage curve is pretty smooth down past 1V. For NiMH I'd probably set it at 3.9 because of their lower initial voltage.
