Antenna for the external modules?

I see the external modules have their own antennas which are smaller than the original antenna I have in my Devo 8S. I would like to know if it is possible to use the main antenna for all external modules. I use one directional antenna 7 dBi in my Devo 8S and my question is if it is possible to use it also for the external modules..

if this dream Single-Board Universal Module will come true, then it will be possible to use the main antenna for all protocols.
By now, you need one antenna per module.
