model.ini gets truncated was created by d3relict
hi,
i found after setting some complex mixes on my devo12s, that the (kind of crowded) gui was missing a lot of items on reload. first i thought is was a software error or ini file corruption, and reloaded the layout from another model, but the issue came back after a power off-on cycle.
then i realized, that my config must be more than 4096 bytes, which seems to be the max, and some of my config just did not make it. i had to simplify my mixes to make it work, and fit in about ~3800 bytes.
is this a hard limit for config files? or did i just run into a bug?
i'm using a nightly build of 4.0.1 (e1a3b14)

In theory you can make ini files larger than 4096, but Deviation isn't capable of growing their size. If you make a file that is larger than 4096 bytes, deviation will resize it to 8192, and should write into it properly. If it works, let use know, and if not, we can probably fix it so it does. Growing files past the sector boundary is an inherent limitation to the filesystem code I'm using, and I have no plans to change it
