Replacement CYRF6936 module was created by raduque
Messed mine up trying to do the diode mod. Does anybody know if a module from the WK-2601 radio would work as a replacement module? It says WK-2808a-RF on it and it's socketed.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Probably it can be schema for WK-2808a-RF. If so, it can be used as replacement module.

Maybe replace it with this -
www.banggood.com/Walkera-WK-DEVO-S-MOD-U...8S-12S-p-922596.html
And have full range.

I would but I already have the older Walkera radio and that module will take anywhere between a week and two months to get to me. Chinese shipping is notoriously unreliable when it comes to time frames. They don't really care abut being timely.

The old modules are one direction only, so no telemetry, and no J6Pro, which needs handshake at bind time...

I'm fine with no telemetry and no J6Pro as I don't own anything with that protocol.
Does anybody know the pinout of the WK-2808A-RF module?
Oops, never even noticed this post! On the first page it looks like there's a pinout of the connector block. Thanks Vlad!

Thanks to all that helped, the operation was a success and the patient survived and will make a full recovery.
The surgery is ugly, but it works 100%.
I used a 5x2 wire block and connected the wires directly to the main board with a lot of difficulty as I lifted some of the pads trying to remove the old module. I need more testing, but it looks like my range issues are gone.
Now I just need to write a model.ini for the Walkera Runner 250.

I know this is reviving an old thread, but just wanted to point out that old radio modules like WK-2808a-RF works fine as a replacement if messed the original one when doing the range mod.
