Do you still have a Devo 8S? It will make a difference for your answer!
I have a Devo 7E that I set to alarm at 4.7v. I usually get over a week of casual use (10-30 minutes three or four times a week), and recently timed about 3 hours use in a two week trip without recharging - the indicator showed about 4.9v remaining. The 7E uses 4 AA 2300mah NIMH batteries.
