DEVO7E PPM-> USB Help was created by Mathew
Hi guy.
i want to use my DEVO7e as an Gamepad to use it with Heli-X. I could conect the Devo to my PC but it only reconized channel 1-4. I created an simple config with 6 Channels.
Channel 5 should be The Flymode Switch and channel 6 should be the Pitch Channel. The Channel Monitor show the right values (channel 5 off=-100 on=100) but like i said above Channel 5 and 6 willbe ignored by my pc.
Maybe somebody could help me. I try different setting without succes.
Maybe its possible to use the Hold and Fnid Switches an an simple button?! Try to use the virtual buttons but without succes :-(

RealFlight wouldn't see my switches until I messed with the mixer. Here's my ini for PPM to PC.

I don't know if it'll help but you can try virtual switches like you mentioned. It was unclear if you couldn't get virtual switches going in the 7E, PC, or both.

I've updated the ini to use the throttle trim as channel 7 and 8 on my 7E. I'll upload it when I get back home.

Thank you i try it but without succes. Windows is showing that the ppm connect got 3 Buttons (German: Schaltflächen) but non of them is working when i trigger any button on the Devo. The Axis are working well.
When i use the USB Cable everything is working fine but it is very unconfortable to hold the Devo.
So my suggestion is that the ppm-Usb adapter isnt working probertly
