Do i set my tx power to 115mw? was created by blackjackel
I installed this into my 7e: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OIQ8FS6?psc...i_detailpage_o06_s00

I have an extension cable attached to it and the antenna to the extension. The item says the current is 115ma in the description for the Nrf24l01+pa+lna

Does this mean I can set the TX power in model.ini to 115mw?

No. That's simply how much battery power the module draws.

Ok thanks, so is there something i should tweak to achieve more range or should i leave everything else alone?

Would it hurt if I messed with the tx power? Would it burn out the chip or will it simply at some point not go higher than i set it?

For example say the max the chip can do is 150mw and i set it to 200, will this fry the chip or will the chip just run at 150mw even though it's set to 200?
