Replacement Tx was created by DoubleQuad
OK, so I bought a Devo 7e and whilst performing the range mod, I inadvertently removed not only the resistor I was trying to bridge but another one close to it.
The Tx still works, but it would seem that it is now destined to forever output only 10 mW, which renders it useless.
So that puts me in need of a new Tx, and as much as I liked the 7e (in the brief time I have owned it) I am wary of attempting the range mod again.
I am now thinking of a Devo 10 (along with Turning 9XR Pro / OrangeRx T-Six and FlySky FS-T6). For someone who is a park flyer with thoughts of flying FPV, is there ANY downside to a Devo 10?
To add to the mix, is there any possibility that my 7e may be brought out of its 10 mW damnation?

You could buy the 8S upgrade module and just disable the internal module. You'll get full range.

The only issue I've had with my Devo 10 is the hinges on the battery cover.
I'd do the 8s upgrade on your 7e.

Is it absolutely necessary to remove the old module when performing this mod?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I don't know if it's necessary, but I removed it.

At the very least, you'd have to stop the module from trying to send data to the transmitter, otherwise they'll interfere.
