Failed Devo 7e S mod?

I have just done this mod which involves removing the stock module and replacing it with the Devo 8s upgrade module . I have quadruple checked my connections and also ensured I haven't bridged anything.
When I turn on my Tx I am getting a low voltage warning regardless of whether or not I have fresh batteries or not. The level always shows as 2.98v.
Also I am getting less than 10m distance with my receiver. I haven't checked another as I only have the one.
It seems I have done something wrong?

Sorry I'm not sure where you mean - could you highlight in one of my photos?

Looks like it's not available anymore, product link 404s? www.banggood.com/Walkera-WK-DEVO-S-MOD-U...reviews-p922596.htmlDoubleQuad wrote: From banggood. $20 for the module, aerial and cable.
Looks like walkeraonline / ehirobo (exact same content/company) currently have them for US$20 with free (?) shipping

However, this f'ing POS had the last laugh - not only does the upgraded module not work but whatever I did to it seems to have fried the USB as well. Windows knows that its there but doesn't recognise it. The USB Upgrade tool also refuses to see it.
So I guess that is really it. It is totally f*cked. Mind you now that I have been my current Tx for a while I can see that the Devo 7e really is a toy, so I'm not that worried. Its a p1sser about the money, but lesson learned - don't f*ck with things that don't need to be f*cked with.

Thanks for the walkeraonline link. US$24 for the module incl. shipping but less expensive than a new Devo 7E . It looks like this shop if one of the few they still have the module in stock so not too much choice .

Whoops I'd misread it as shipping free to your country, not shipping fee. Or maybe I came from a different page that had free shipping on a certain item, can't remember.biker wrote: US$24 for the module incl. shipping
