Devo 10 AUX4 and AUX5 don't work with Deviation

I have a brand new Devo 10. With factory firmware both AUX dials work fine. As soon as I load Deviation AUX 4 stops working at all, and AUX 5 acts like a switch, either -100 or 100.

is this normal, or is there a setting I have missed that makes them work?
