CC2500 mod-display blinking/unstable Tx voltgage was created by lovecveverek
Hi all,
I ve been happily using devo 7e + NRF24L01 and i recently installed CC2500, I connected CC2500 through pins on NRF24L01 + separate CNS. It all works, it binds to d4r-ii via FrSky protocol. However, when cc2500 employed, I can see the display fluctuating/blinking and the Tx voltage is very unstable. When I switch protocols that goes through NRF24L01 the issues disappear. See video below. The display blinking can't be seen in the video, I guess it s because the refresh rate of the camera. For the module connection see the picture.
Anyone has any idea what s going on?
EDIT: alright, friend of mine suggested not to use this kind of pseudo-serial layout of the modules but paralel one. Gonna resolder.

The voltage fluctuation is normal, > 2way transmission >telemetry.
The higher you set the transmitter output power, the more will it be.
Even my Futaba FC18V3 plus has this issue with the Frsky DFT module.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

I've got two different Tx's set up with two modules in serial like you describe. Both work fine.
