Yes you are right, sorry!

With ENT and power on the USB Drive appears with the folders and the ini-files.

So, please leave the screen on the USBdeview open and fire up the tx while holding the key EXT.
The screen will update in realtime. Maybe you see what is going on at that moment.

OK, but nothing changed. Its still not connected written in the row.
But one thing is funny: When the TX is connected to USB the Tools shows me the Devo like in picture USBDeview_3 as not connected. When i disable the device, it will shown like picture USBDeview_4 as connected.

Please back to one point you mention before. How can i get the right driver STTube30.sys into the system?

Since my business stopped at win7, I really can't give you an advice on how to install this driver on win10.
But there must be a system function as well. Sometimes I had done this manually by getting the info from the "inf." for the keys.
Perhaps Bullfrog will supply you with keys of his system. He update to win 10 from win7 and the changes were made by the system.
But first study the info file for this driver. There must exist a second file location like prior >/DRVstore/.

....you never be bored with...microSOFT. :woohoo:

Hi all.

I also use this installer without any success. I think this one was written for Windows 7 and 8 x64 support.

And then i installed the metioned "Flash_Loader_Demontrator" from STMiroelectronics Version 2.8 from Sep. 2015. Nothing changed.

Ran into this issue on a new Windows 7 x64 install. I used the driver installer at the link above to install the STM driver and that fixed it - dfuse then recognized the Devo 10. Previously Windows said it automatically installed a driver, but it lied.

;) ..that's what I expected.
But why does not work for the other user? Does Win10/64 have more restriction than win7/64?
Edit: ..some month ago I installed the Walkera tool on my Win7/64 and had no problems.

Sorry to ressurect this old topic but I ran into the same problem with windows 10 not seeing my Devo 10. Anyway, the fix was that the driver it was using was not the DFU version. This is what I did:

Go into device manager and find the STM device under USB. I dont think it shows up unless you connect and power on Devo while holding EXT. Then go into properties and select update driver, and navigate all the way thru where it says Browse my computer for a driver. After that, select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"

There you should see 2 drivers. One will be STM bootloader and the other should be STM device in DFU mode. Select the DFU mode one and that'll do it.

If you dont see both, then you probably need to install the driver first by getting it in the downloads section of the deviationtx site.

Unfortunately this procedure don't work anymore. I even tried with newer version of STM driver 3.0.5.0 but starting of this driver STM in DFU mode fails with FC 10.
Any idea how to fix it for current win 10 ??

Hi everybody,

after updating Win 10 x64 to version 2004 (build 19041.338) my Devo was no longer shown in DfuSe version 2.31. The Devo was connected correctly and the software had worked fine under the previous version of Windows.

After several new installations and checks with USBDeview I followed the advice of Nuggetz, which was described in post #53648 in this thread.

This worked perfectly, many thanks to Nuggetz!

Can't connect DEVO 8 to PC now. Several years ago, it worked and with Win 10. Now, nothing. Where would I download STTube30.sys? I read all the group blog on this. I hate Windows 10--Microsoft keeps meedling with it.

Gary, Is this also a solution with other versions of Windows? Like, XP, 7 and 8? I will give it a try and report back.

What am I doing wrong? I have run USB install many times.

I gave up with Win 10. Perhaps, I cluttered the computers drivers trying everything.
So, I successfully used a marvelous SAMSUNG Q1 running XP. I used the Walkera Dfuse.
I can not tell any difference between D4.0 and D5.0. Thanks for all the help, I learned a lot.
