PPM Input, Buddy Box Problem, PPM5 not working

I'm building myself a buddybox transmitter, which is only sending out a PPM signal. It works so far. I can control my channels, so my basic connection works, I guess. I'm transmitting 8 channels.
My problem is if I take an virtual channel and select as source the PPM5, there is no signal coming on the mixer page. It doesn't matter if the trainer switch is flipped or not.
If this channel is routed through the option in the model settings(when I click on stick), it's working. With the trainer switch flipped.
The reason I'm doing this is, because the instructor might have the selfbuilt transmitter and he should have the control over the trainer switch.
Anyone got a tip for me?
Btw I'm using deviation v4.0.1 on a Devo 10 without additional modules
Greetings from Germany

Thank you for your answer!
Yes all the ppm inputs are assigned to an unused switch. The value of the switch change if the ppm signal is varied.
But in the mixer page there's no movement in the graph, no matter which ppm input I select.

The string in the display is devo10-v4.0.1
This is the newest stable, isn't it?

He only mentioned it cause there's a wiring change from the old 4.0.1 to the nightly builds is all. If you're doing a new install there's no concern as you can just wire it all up the new way and flash it then.
As mentioned; you've found a bug, therefore your system isn't currently running right so no need to "not mess with a WORKING system". Fire up the computer, it's time to update that bad boy!mario123 wrote: I haven't upgraded yet because I thought it might get unstable. ("Never change a running system")

I have upgraded to the newest nightly.
There are some nice new options!
But its still not working. I'm using the same model.INI. I have done an instructor/student flight everything worked good. So my basic Ppm connection is working. But if I set the source of an virtual channel to Ppm 5 or any other. The graph shows no movement. Even though the channels are verified to work in an instructor/student mode.
