Sounds like the file system is corrupt. Connect it to a computer, copy all your model files off. Now format the drive, copy the file system from your distribution to it, and restore the model files. You'll need to recalibrate the tx, and possibly any other changes you made to it's configuration. And of course, if you've modified any other files - applied a theme, added icons, etc. - you'll have to put those back as well.
