I verified that the download works ok for me. perhaps you should try a different browser?
This will replace the Walkera firmware altogether. If you would like to go back, there is a local copy of the Walkera official firmware here:

Works fine for me too.
Windows 8.1
using Internet Explorer 11, and also using Chrome. Both browsers work for me, and extract the .zip with no problem.

You should not download V4.01 release but instead of latest nightly-build:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/3-feedback-que...-nightly-build#46790
Please guys & PhracturedBlue, at least delete the (final) release 4.0.1 directory and files from the download section as discussed in previous threads.
You are already planning for 5.0 release...so what.
Deviation-4.0.1: "WARNING: While this is the latest "official release", it is quite old and has known issues. (See the Bug Tracker)
If you want to take advantage of the latest bug fixes and new protocols, use the Nightly Builds."
Sorry, this is IMHO just not enough as noted in above threads short-term suggestions.
Would you please link the already summarized issue threads and more concrete warning about protocol (telemetry) and CYRF reset issues which had been fixed only in nightlies?
Pointing only to Mantis bugtracker tells nothing. Only sound like minor issues.

I was a complete n00b when I got my DEVO 10, and even though I first flashed v4.0.1 to my un-modded Tx to make sure that it was indeed a working Tx when it arrived, by the time I started with the physical mods I knew that the Nightly Builds were what I needed to be using, including locally archiving the .zip files that I was using in case I had to revert back to one of them.

Well, in my opinion it should not be deleted, but once v5.0 is officially released, it should then be moved to the "Older Releases" folder for legacy support reasons. Anyone that is new to DeviationTx should have done enough reading and research to know that v4.0.1 is ancient and the Nightly Builds are what they really need to be using. Besides, it is not that big of a deal to re-flash a Nightly Build when they figure it out at a later date.Thomas.Heiss wrote: Please guys & PhracturedBlue, at least delete the (final) release 4.0.1 directory and files from the download section as discussed in previous threads.

Probably this is beyond the thread title "can not download xxx firmware zip".
I am moving to 5.0 release thread: www.deviationtx.com/forum/6-general-disc...ments?start=20#47295
