Hello,
Test Ver. 664,D8R,Hub,Alt,Fas-40
On Test set to 0 Datas (VoltA,Amp) are displayed, but not constant. After few Seconds the Fields going red and then return to normal.
VoltA and Amp showing the real Numbers but not constant on Display .
Alt does show always but it stops the refreshing on same Time as VoltA and Amp going red.
Data Log with Test set to 1
greetings Alex

Thanks. From the log it looks like the display probably behaved the same when TEST was 1. Is that correct?
Don't have any more likely guesses to make. Something needs to be sent in packet bytes 4 and/or 5 to keep telemetry flowing, but not sure what. With the current code it runs for a bit, stops, then repeats. Really need some captures from a stock Frsky tx module while hub telemetry is running to make progress.
Will make a PR to display negative temperature values correctly.

Alex, would you please use the same test build to make a datalog capture with TEST=1 and without the sensor hub (using the vario to connect the fas-40)? I'd like to see if there's any change in the sequence or if the current code is fine.

Thanks Alex. Looks like even without the hub we'd get better results if we knew the proper values to send from the tx. Thinking maybe a test build with an Frsky sniffer, but haven't checked difficulty level yet...

Hello,
yes with out the Hub is can be used.
The Amp is a little slow but it works for most Applications , only the 0.5 Amp without Servos looks a bit high. Here i will test next Days with Taranis and booth FAS (40 / 100) and report.
It looks like there are not to much Users of the D8 Protocol ,so i think we should take the best out of the given Point at the Moment and do a deep Bug check on d8 and x8.
To get a good working Frsky Protocol.
greetings Alex

I don't plan on any changes unless I can get more information about the transmit values. Should be finished unless testing turns up something.

Hey guys,
I'm reading through this thread and I think what I'm reading is that hub telemetry was added for the D8 protocol correct? Was that set of code merged back into the main nightlies or do I have to load a specific version of DeviationTX to get it going?

That's correct. It's in the nightly builds. User manuals with updated information are in the test build section (and the deviation-manual repo).
