Devo 7e was created by xMrAwesome24
Hi, So I just put the Deviation Firmware in my Devo 7e. And I am trying to bind to an SLT reciever, but when I try to bind, it says "Re-Init". What do I do to bind if that shows up? And what does it mean?

www.deviationtx.com/user-manual/user-manual-7e-10
, the relevant chapter is

As far as I can recall, you turn on TX first, you turn on the receiver and press bind button on receiver. On TR624 it's called LINK. See the manual for the receiver -
manuals.hobbico.com/tac/tacl0624-manual-v2.pdf
.
Re-init on Deviation means that you don't need to do anything on TX to bind, just turn it on. It's basically what's written in the manual.

I read something about having to put in different hardware if the protocol had a "*" on it. DO I have to intall something else in the controller?

If you read the manual for the protocol you chose - SLT - you'll see a notice that you need to install nRF24L01 module to use this protocol. The manual has the link to the detailed instructions how to do this.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

The SLT protocol hasn't been well-tested. In particular, we've had reports (including mine) of timing issues with some SLT aircraft, but the stock Tx seems to have the same issues, so we're not sure if it's an issue with deviationTx or the aircraft.
