running out of virtual channels was created by jjk836
I'm running out of virtual channels with my H101 config. Is it possible to increase the number to 12? (It might be as NUM_VIRT_CHANNELS can be changed in the source but so far I don't have my own build environment - could be a reason to set one up .
That's why I need them:
button for flipping 2 channels
button for inverting 2 channels
button for return to home 2 channels
button for setting new heading 1 channel
button for resetting the gyros 1 channel
one helper holds the absolute maximum of the cyclics
one helper holds the absolute throttle value (for safety and display)
one helper flip or invert mode active
emergency throttle hold on gear 1 channel

That's good news. any help is appreciated. Another problem I can't solve is, that virtchan10 doesn't show the maximum of virt5 and virt7. I also tried Ch5 and Ch6 as input, it neither works.
CH1 AIL Dual Rate on AIL DR
CH2 ELE Dual Rate on ELE DR
CH3 THR throttle curve on MIX 0=1-1, 1=heavy model, 2=light model
CH4 RUD Dual Rate on RUD DR
CH5 TRIM_L+ invert (virt7, virt8, trim7) push button and move cyclic to direction
CH6 TRIM_R+ flip (virt5, virt6, trim6) push button and move cyclic to direction
CH9 FMODE Flightmode (0=head mode, 1=headless mode)
CH10 FMODE2 Return to home (not enough virtchans for auto off in the moment)
TRIM_R- Set new heading (only if THR=0, virt3)
TRIM_L- Gyro callibration (only if THR=0, virt9)
GEAR Emergency throttle hold (virt4)
virt1 abscyclic
virt2 absthr
virt10 flip or invert mode active

You can also use any output channel that's not used by the quad as a virtual channel. Normally, I'd suggest using the higher unused channels and then setting the number of channels to control the ones you want transmitted, but that doesn't work with the h101. You need the higher numbered channels, and they are bit-bash channels which are always used even if they are above the number of channels the model transmits, though we've discussed fixing that.
