How do i enable headless mode x5sw on a 7e?

As far as i know the symaX protocol supports headless mode on channel 9

As far as i know the 7e supports only 8 channels...

How would i go about enabling headless mode on x5sw on a 7e? Is there an ini file i can modify? Do i need to download the source to the symaX,mod file, change channel 9 to channel 8 then recompile it?

I figured it out on my own, apparently 7e does support 9 channels, you need to update to a nightly build past april 2016

then you need to go to > Model menu > mixer > Scroll down to "Ch9", if it says "none" then choose that then choose "Simple"

Change SRC to HOLD1
Change Curve to Min/Max

Badaboom! done! Now when you flip your left topmost switch your chopper will go in and out of headless mode.
