It's a mini USB, just like on the DEVO series...

Maybe it is the angle that I have to work with. I ordered a usb adapter that might fit in there. Thanks.

Have you tried a mini USB cable? It's not the same as the micro USB used by all the phones! The mini is usually used by photo equipment...

Some older phones (even "smart" ones) have also used mini USB. I'm always amazed when a new product (GoPro, audio amps, etc, and now TX ) choose to use mini USB. Interestingly some hardware developers I've contacted to know the reason of this choice stated the mini version was more robust than the micro one. Personally I've yet to see a micro USB connector fail. And I think that's a proper misconception of USB standards as micro plug is designed for 10000 insertions and mini 5000 at most. As always "your mileage may vary" I suppose.

I have a lot of broken micro USB cable, they usually fail after 2-3 months, and can't charge devices anymore...

That was one of the aim of the micro USB improvements over mini : move potentials issues on the cable side of the connection. Cable change being cheaper than an host repair/change and less impacting for the user.
That said, not all micro usb cables are built the same. Especially some low cost ones bundled with equipment.
I've been really using one cable in my life, a Nokia CA-101 and still going strong after 8 years. I've also found Anker cable to be nicely built.

The mini usb cables don't fit the mini usb plug-in inside of the Jumper T8SG. They seem to be a hair to big to fit inside. Probably just a cheap one. Since there is only a micro or a mini, I know I have the right one. I might have to sand off a little to make it work. I will take it to the electronics store to see if they have one that will fit it. Thanks anyway.

Can you post pictures of your TX plug and your cable plug ? It would seem your cable is off-spec (or maybe is the older mini usb revision), but who knows.

I didn't know there was an older mini revision. That would answer the question though. i have had the cables for quite awhile. I can't send a picture anymore. While trying to grind off the outside metal it kinda flew apart. I have a usb extender to get the plug outside the case coming in the mail. Plus I will stop by the electronics store to get one that works. Thanks for the information.

Okay I can use a usb from a camera I have. Now it doesn't do anything after hooking it to my computer. Think I need to download something else. Thanks for the help on the usb.
