Devo 7e problems was created by norris
Checking via my computer there are models stored on my Devo 7e yet when I turn the transmitter on and go to “load”model menu there’s nothing there, completely blank.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

When looking at the 'models' directory on your computer what do you see?
The filenames have to be:

model1.ini
model2.ini
model3.ini

and so on...

Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" and see if model files have *.ini extension only. Also, model files have to be numbered in series (1..n), without gaps.

Exactly that with some being renamed with the models that I have downloaded.
Tx memory is completely blank, nothing to select to load.

These files can't be renamed, only "modelN.ini" is acceptable. If system will not find "model1.ini" you will see nothing at list.

I have re-flashed the firmware but didn’t get the “Deviation” start up screen on the TX until I formatted the TX drive, if that makes sense?

I then reloaded the drive plus the model file for my V120DO2 and now it seems to be fine.
As yet not flown it but I removed the main blades and spooled it and it seemed to work as it should, well It didn’t go nuts or throw a fit!
However sometimes when you replace the main blades they then go nutty . I have a HCP100S doing that at the moment, don’t know why?

Does Open TX affect the running of Deviation?

I had to removed various files and programmes ( Open TX being one of them) on my laptop and run maintenance before it worked.
