Manual sentence

From the Devo 6 manual:
"A flybarless collective pitch helicopter might benefit from some of the features of the standard GUI, it doesn’t need them and may need those missing features."

How should this sentence read?

The sentence does not seem to be fully formulated. Maybe it is due to the translation from another language into English. As a German, understand the meaning in this way:

A flybar-less helicopter with collective pitch might benefit from some features of the standard GUI, basically it doesn't need them, but maybe these features are a useful addition.

I would like to note that I have programmed all my flybar and flybarless helicopters exclusively using the Advanced GUI.
