Receiver firmware

Braking news!
Walkera relased the first receiver fw upgrade! It is for the QR Ladybird quad.

With the same UP-02 dongle, which is for updating the DEVO 7, and with a so far nonexisting UP-02 to board connector adapter...

I do not want to update anything: it is interesting, because it is the first Walkera receiver code we know about. It is compatible with all the DEVOs, so it knows the protocol from the other side.
However it might not be STM32, but it may be a code for an ATMEL, I don't know...

My guess is that the UP-02 is likely a USB->UART adapter (not the same as USB to Serial). I got one for $3 for debugging the Devo8, and plug it into the Trainer port. I think I'm going to buy a Ladybird so I have a model I can use with my Devo8. I'm just trying to decide if I should pay extra for a Devo7 so we have a second target for our firmware development or not.
I looked at the firmware, and it doesn't look anything like firmware for the STM32 should. That could be because it is encoded, and the program that transmits it decrypts it, or, more likely, they aren't using an STM32 processor in the receiver.

They used to use ATMEL processors in the receivers...

EDIT: On the Genius CP they use the ATMEL ATXMega32A4. They might use it on all the other receivers, however the Genius CP's fw is not upgradable...
