Model testors for the DEVO 6/6S and DEVO 8/8S was created by Tom Z
I am Tom Z from Rcgroups. I made transmitter setup guides for many helicopters
which are posted in my sticky in the Micro Helis forum.
I would like to start making setup guides soon for the deviation firmware and post the model .ini files so you can download them to your transmitter.
I don't have a Devo 6 or 8 so I would like to see if people here would test the
model for me to make sure it is working correctly before I release it to the public on rcgroups and here.
Let me know if you would be interested in testing some of my models for me.
First I have to learn all the menus in the deviation firmware then I can start to make some models.

Tom,
I just converted my Devo6 to Deviation. Would be happy to test some models. I have a Walkera Genius CP, Ladybird, V120D02S and soon will have a Master CP. Also have a Blade mCPX.

Hi John,
Sounds good, you can be the model tester for the Devo 6 and your models.
I have someone on rcgroups to test the Devo 8S with the Mini CP and a V120D02S.
And I have the Devo 10 so I will test my Mini CP, Master CP, Ladybird, Hoten X and the brand new QR INFRAX that I have on the way to review Monday which I will also make a TX setup guide for.
Is your V120D02S a V2 or is it the first version with the 3 axis gyro?

Hi Tom,
I have the 3 axis version of the V120. But I have two of them, so does that mean I have 6 axes?
Looking forward to checking out your models.

Hi John,
I have a couple models you can test for me if you want.
They worked great in my Devo 10.
I would bind but don't take off yet. Check that the servos are working correctly, put on throttle hold and move the throttle up and down to make sure the swash is working correctly. If this is all good then try a low hover to make sure it is OK in flight. Then try normal and stunt modes.
I just want to make sure all the settings work the same in your Devo 6 as they did in my Devo 10. I was told they would and will also work in the Devo 8.
I am working on more models now.
