Thinking about V tail, anyone have an example of how to do V tail mixing with deViation? This would be a good opportunity for me to learn how to program this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Planes are new to me since Walkera does not produce them and I can fly them only since deViation.
V tail mixing is not so complicated (if i have unterstood this correct). You have to make two virtual channels bounded to the aile and elev channels of your rx. As inputs you use a complex mixer where on the first the elev is input for both with the same sign and scale (I used about 60%) and the second is added based on the aile stick, for the first virtual channel with a scale of say +60% and on the second with -60%.
In the result both flaps move identically up or down on elev and contrary on aile.
You can see the mixer in my model.ini.

Hi,

I'm not running DeViation at the moment but just in case it helps...

I fly a V-Tail Durafly Zephyr with a Devo 7.

From memory, I went:

MODEL > TYPE = AERO > WING = V-TAIL.

Then the rudder and elev rx slots are for your L-TAIL and R-TAIL.

I believe it's not so easy with deViation, but much more powerful.
Anyway, should we have a V-Tail template for the beginners? I haven't tried do make a template so I can't say how hard this will be...

My first attempt create template. Sorry, but channels automapping not works, it destroy complex mix. Channels mapping is for DEVO protocol.

If you need change direction one of elevons, simply reverse that channel, at channel properties.

I'm not 100% confident that templates are correct and I can't verify it by myself. But why not?
