compatable Tx upgrades? was created by Scream
Hiya!

I'd like to get some pretty, red stick ends a bit larger than the stock Devo10 ends I'm using now.

Since this forum is full of expert Walkera users, I thought for sure somebody would know which brands are compatible with our stuff. Every website shows futuba, JR or spectrum models but nothing for us! :(

Also, I tightened my sticks to better feel the distance I'm pushing them, but lately noticing a slight squeak... what's the best lube to use on the stick mechanism?

Please advise!

Cheers & Thanks,

For the diameter there are two standards, afaik: M3 and M4, what is 3mm/4mm.
Walkera/Devo uses 3mm. I don't remember if it was compatible to futaba or jr or what else, but you will find this easily.

Thanks rbe2012!

I guess I gotta place another order!

Since I got back into helicopters, my visa card is starting to look like a Dali clock!

Futaba M3 I believe. Also the same as eSky and Twister (and probably most generic TXs), if you have an old TX lying around unused.

Hi!

I ended up grabbing a pair of Spektrum stick ends made for Dx8 and Dx6i, as they seemed easier to come across.

They fit perfectly, thanks to your info!

I added some rubber washers between the new metal knobs and the threaded m3, then tightened up the stick ends. After recalibrating the sticks, I now have smooth end points instead of stock thud :)

Let me know if you'd like to see a pic!

My English is not good enough to self-produce an imagination of where you have placed the rubber... so a picture would be nice.

Hiya!

Pictures are worth a thousand words so... behold my baby! :)

...Pretend there's a blue led behind the devo10 part... that's next on the list!
