devo8s color bars and will not turn off

i ded all the downloads for 8s now when i turn it on all i get is color bars and it will not turn off to turn it off i must put in progran update mode then turn it off

Clearly someting went wrong and the new firmware is not running, but the bootloader still is. That means it is unlikely that you have a hardware problem.

I would suggest go back to the Devention software, reload it just as you would do an upgrade with new Devo firmware, using the Walkera dfuse tool. Once that is up and running, start over and make sure you follow the steps in the manual or look at one of Tom Z's videos. ( it is all on this site)

Thanks for getting back to me i started all over whith the new devo firmware and that is where i ran into the color bars
