Side project: Hacking the rx2703h-d 6 axis gyro. was created by Hexperience
Hello everyone...
I've been really enjoying my "conversion" to Walkera. The transmitters are great quality and of course deviation really unleashes them.
I've been converting a lot of my heli's over to various Walkera RX/Gyro combos and I now have a couple 2702s, a 2618 and a 2703h-d
The 2703h-d flies great, very stable and the self leveling (although very mild) gives me confidence to try new things. (First flips and inverted on this one)
Problems though;
- No ability to reverse servos
- No ability to reverse gyro compensation direction
- Unused servo ports (channels)
- Piro compensation
- Adjustment of settings such as accelerometer vs gryo (yes there is one "balance" pot.
And of course:
- No GUI to set all this up with.
So I started to think, "how hard could it be?"
We have the ability to flash the firmware on to the RX with the update tool.
Anyone interested in helping out with this project?
Cheers

Try all the Servo ports, one of them usually works.

In nut shell: for reset the signal pin (white) needs to be pulled up to the +5V (red; via the resistor) during the boot-up. Regardless where they put the pins in the "bind plug" in china....
