Tried to revert back but...

When I did, I now get a "version error" in the display on a Devo 8. ( not 8S )
It came with Deviation installed, I'm not flying anything but 802Rx's.. so I want it back to Devention.
I've tried twice now, and after the Dfuse software has given me the " Success " for both firmware upgrade, and Library upgrade, when I quit the Defuse software, the Tx flashes " version error.
I could use some help.

Which Deviation firmware are you using and which version of DfuSe?

I dont know what version of Deviation it was running.
I cant see the version because now when I turn on the Tx, it just flashes the screen with "version error" dispayed.

There is no sticker in the battery compartment with a version number. Only a sticker that tells you to use 4 NiCad or 4 dry batts.
The firmware I downloaded was the 100mw version, I'll try the 10mw version...
It never occured to me to ask if this was the 10mw or 100mw version Tx. I thought they were all capable of 100mw.

OK, I just upgraded the devention software to the 10mw version and it went fine. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

I wish I had known this was a 10mw version.. I guess buyer beware.
Since I wont fly my bigger birds on this, ( not on 10mw ) I guess I might go back to deviation and play around with it more.

So buy using the latest version of Deviation, It will allow me to run at 100mw?
I fly 700's and the guy who sold me the Devo 8 didnt bother to tell me it was the 10mw version. Yeah, with years on the 2801Pro, you'd think I would have learned, but I assumed all the Devo Tx's were now 100mw capable.
Live and learn.
I have an 8S also, new, and was planning on using the 8S as my main Tx, with the 8 as a back up.
I will go back to the latest version of Deviation, just have to learn how to do this now..LOL

Right now, I have 3.0 installed, and am lost like an idiot.
I'm having a time trying to figure out how to set up swashmix and pitch curves for my FB heli's.

If you switch to the Standard mixer/GUI it might be easier and closer to what you were used to on the Devention/2801 firmware. Also see Hexperience`s sticky on how to configure for Deviation for FBL heli`s

Yeah, I've been looking at the "standard" GUI, might be how I'm going to gwt this set up.
