Just got the Devo 10, any tips before I begin? was created by rcminiman
Hi folks,
Cant wait to get the Devo 10 working.
I will be installing the software on a non internet connected laptop. I have got the Devo defuse and Deviation software on my usb stick ready for trying tonight. Ive also printed out the Deviation manual, and will have my tablet standing by for web searches or post here should I encounter any difficulties.
Will I run into any difficulties if I dont have the web connected on the laptop?
Im pretty nervous about this, any assistance would be appreciated.
I will also need setup files for Nano cpx please if possible? How do I work them, as they save as a txt file to my usb stick when I right click and "save as".
Thanks

The model.ini files are linux text files, if Save as... saves them with a txt extention just remove the extension and make sure it's named modelxx.ini where xx is a number from 01 to 30.

Yipee, its working!
I cant remember if it will work with my Nine Eagles 100D? Its got a J6 tx. Ive not tried yet.
Have programmed and flown a few micros already, including my ncpx. This should make a lot of difference using only one tx for all my helis.
Will get my 450's programmed at the weekend.
Nobody got a single servo swash program for a trex 450 running CopterX fbl gyro?
Well happy here so I am!!!
Many thanks to all of the programming developers involved in Deviation!!
