I was thinking of getting a TM1100 to monitor flight pack voltage and maybe head speed. Is it working ok?
Cheers
-- by the way, I'll be monitoring a 12S setup so I'm hoping to use the ~60V spec.

I've got two tm1000. I can bind both to my ar8000, but none to my ar7200bx. It is DSMX. I've passed the failsafe on the ar7200bx by not connecting an esc. So I don't know what's wrong here.
Basically I've tried two things.
1) Unbind the receiver. Power up the receiver with the tm1000 bind button pushed (it's blinking fast as it should for bind mode). Then power up the tx, go to bind menu and press bind. => tm1000 goes black and even bind with the rx fails
2) Press the bind button on tm1000 (without power). Enter bind mode on the tx. Power up the receiver. It blinks for a very short period. => tm1000 goes black and even bind with the rx fails
Does anyone have an idea on how to debug?

Actually it just struck me. The bind procedure won't work as soon as I have telemetry activated, whether I have a tm1000 connected to my receiver or not. So my interpretation is that the ar7200bx does like devo8s dsmx with telemetry on.
Which is a bummer for me.

Try with DSM2 protocol.

I was able to bind! I was doing two things wrong.
1) pressing the bind button fro too long. Until the beast finished initialising. Have to let go as soon as the TM1000 gives a steady light.
2) having telemetry enabled while binding. It has to be disabled. After binding I can activate it. (this is a bit of a surprise to me)
There was a third problem, I was using a orange satellite that while it can bind along with my ar7200bx it can't when I connect the tm1000. A spektrum dsmx did the trick.

I did this again, now with a brand new TM1100. This time I had to do as vlad_vy suggested, use the dsm2 protocol. I'm concluding that it is because of the TM1100 because I tried with two setups
Both works with dsm2 and not with dsmx. Wierd, as when I replace the tm1100 with a tm1000 I can use dsmx.
- ar7200bx (so dsmx)
- beastx, no receiver and dsmx satellite
