I could not find a definitive answer to this.

In Deviation the software allows for 150mW of output power. Is this actually 150mW's being pushed by the Tx?

I remeber with the Devo 7e and the range mod the amp was only 100mW max. 150mW in Deviation was actually only 100mW of output power (I believe).

Is this the same for the Devo 10 or does the software actually allow the hardware to push 150mW?

Thank you! I could not find an actual answer on this, just alot of speculation.

Original Devo 10 output power test.

Deviation firmware can use RF module up to it limit (150mW).

Also devo 7e without bridging the diode has afaik about 7mw of output power not 100mw

As far as i know no one has tested deviation at 150mw with an analayser, but there is no reason to disturust the pa datasheet as the range at 150 is higher than at 100

Just so I understand correctly, that sheet says max measured output power is 85.31 mW's. That is the actual output power with the stock Devo 10 pushing 100mW's?

So with Deviation firmware pushing it up to 150mW's we could expect about 120-130mW's if measured with a spectrum analyzer?

It is not that simple: the output power of a DSSS system heavily depends on the measured bandwidth...

Also Honestly obsessing about output power is missguided. All that really matters is Range and that depends on way more factors than output power.

Hi
What is deviation from deVention to increase the power output of the TX?
Thanks
