Hello

According to the spec, output is 22dBm (instead of 20dBm). This +2dBm won't give you such extra range (and I guess the 1.8km is for 250kbit/s, not for 1Mbit/s are requiered for our protocol).
This +2dbM shoud give you a gain of sqrt(10^(22/10)/10^(20/10))=1.26 <=> 26% in range... The classic nRF24L01+PA+LNA claims 1100m of range at 250kbit/s. So 1100*1.16=1386~1400m ... so not their 1800m ... except if they also improve the RF matching and/or LNA part

Looks like a completely new to the market module. Looking at the other NRF modules they have put some work into it.

.....and they're damned proud of it, it seems! Almost 4 times the $4.99 I paid at Banggood for the 20dBm unit. (but, it does include an antenna for the $16.90 +$2.90shipping)

I never tested it for range, sinds i don't have a model to fly that far (yet).
