Deviation 8s issue

I thinks i have an issue somewhere.

Just upgraded to latest release. Now i get toggle icons flash on screen when i turn tx on and model loads. Settings are changing themselves. # of mixers scale have changed. Toggle icons turned on.

Tx or Deviation?

I guess the answer to that is no. I did not do models and tx files. There are a couple of other files i thought i did not have to load, a zip file of some description.

Is there a tutorial or video on upgrading from a previous version?

Before blaming anything else you should just backup your files, delete what you have and start fresh.

If it works, then you put back your tx files one by one and see which one causes the radio to misbehave.

Give it a go, at least you'll know if it's a setting or the radio itself.

went back to V3.1.0 beta2 and seems to have fixed it.

Very strange stuff going on.

I just loaded a model that i backed up when V4 was loaded. This model screen has 3 toggles on. I'm sure they are the same ones that flashed up on screen when v4 was loaded. No other models show these toggle icons.

What is going on?

Had a look, the toggles showing are 1 2 and 6 but none are selected. I deleted them, now they are gone but when i turn tx on with this model selected, now toggle icons 3 4 and 5 flash on screen. This does not happen with other models. when v4 was loaded it did, but icons 1 2 and 6.

I am thinking definately a deviation problem.

Attach the model file here. You could also test it in the emulator.

I thought i would try using all v3beta files, nothing from v4. All seemed good until i tried to edit trims page, it does not save changes? Did before this all started.

The very first line seems to be faulty, is there really a 6 in your file?

Plus, toggle 3, 4 and 5 ARE selected to show something, see snippet:

Could you please post the entire file, not just it's contents, as I have seen some strange faults in some lines.

You have miss read my post. I did not say 3 4 5 are not selected. It says 1 2 6 have no icon selected, or 1 2 6 are set to NONE.
