Downloading configs was created by trhodes
Hi All,

I upgraded my Devo 10 to deviation a month ago and absolutely love it. I wondering about the configuration files or .ini files. Are those made to be copied in the models folder and used as models or does one have to build the model in the tx from the .ini file and put in settings by hand? I can't seem to copy them. When I click on the folder or the .ini file it opens with settings in another screen.

Thanks for helping a newbie. ;)

You can copy them into the models folder by putting your TX into USB mode. The filename needs to be Modelnn.ini, where nn is the model number you'd like to it appear as in the menu.

Thanks Mike,

But how do I move or copy the file from the deviation website to my folder. Can I click and drag it?

First download it. Usually you just have to click on it a few times (as you notice sometimes it just opens a new page with text, that's a web site issue cause it's in the middle of an upgrade) but if you hit back and try a few more times eventually it will give you the "save-as or open with" dialog box.

Once you download it change the name to modelnn.ini (explained above) then simply drag and drop to the model directory of your devo in USB mode. That will give you a "ok to replace" dialog, check yes / replace file and your done. Now just eject your tx from USB mode and select that model number and bind.

Still can't get it to download. I click back and it just brings up the text. Do I need to change something in my internet settings?

Okay great, I got them to save and I saved them in the model folder on the tx. My next problem is they are not showing up in the tx when I go to load models. Any thoughts?

What did you name them?

They must be names as "model1" "model2", not whatever you want.
