Using WL-T6 adapter with other models was created by jacklscott3
Hey guys,
I've got a wl-t6 adapter (external module) that I've been using to control my v922, using the PPM Protocol. Since the 922 normally requires a nrf24l01, I'm guessing it's safe to assume the t6 adapter is using the nrf24l01 module. That being said... Is it possible to fly other models that use the same module but that are outside of the wl toys/HiSky protocol using the adapter?

A specific example would be, am i able to fly a syma x5c quad using the wl-t6 adapter?

My main concern is the fact that while using the adapter the protocol is set to ppm, so there is no way to select a different protocol.
Any ideas, or information would be very helpful!
Thank you
Jack

That adapter only supports the HiSky protocol. Not possible to fly models that use other protocols with it.

You might want to look into this multiprotocol module . It has various options to control which protocol on the module is used.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.
