[Newbie] Devo 10 + RX1002 + CC3D for PPM was created by liliass
Dear All,
As Title, Do I able to get PPM/S.BUS protocol with above setup ?
Devo 10 White (Flashed with DeviationTX)
RX1002 Receiver
CC3D
If it is not possible which receiver works perfect for Devo 10 ?
I just start in RC world about a month. I am a bit confused.
(Sorry for my english)

it is not clear to me, what is your intention.
RX1002 Receiver is a standard PWM receiver
IMHO the CC3D can take as input:
This includes:
OpenPilot CC3D

RX1002 Receiver is a standard PWM receiver
IMHO the CC3D can take as input:
- Spektrum satellite receiver
- Futaba S-BUS hardware
- any standard PWM receiver
- PPM stream
This includes:
- RX1002
- standard Spektrum receivers
- Spektrum satellite
- OrangeRX
- Lemon
OpenPilot CC3D

Thanks for your quick reply "linux-user"
I would like to use Cleanflight LEDStrip. As a result I need to change the PWM setting to PPM. with my current setup.

So you can't use a standard PWM receiver like the RX1002
You would need one of the other 3 RX options the CC3D supports!

- Spektrum satellite
- OrangeRX
- Lemon with S-Bus or PPM output

I'm hopefully going a similar route with a CC3D quad
Devo 7E
Orange R615X rx (Apparently does CPPM out of the bind port...)
I however made a massive mistake
I checked RX would bind up to the Devo 7E in DSM2 and DSMX (which it did)
Plonked the RX on an RC car and plugged the throttle servo into the throttle port , set the failsafe...all good so far
Did a range test
Thinking it could be fun to drive the RC truck and do a real world range test
I put the steering servo into the rudder port and the RX LEDS went potty and all 3 servos just jittered
I unplugged everything but the power and now the RX is completely dead
No leds at all and it gets hot
Got another R615X on its way to me...and I will NOT be testing by plugging the monster truck's dual servo's in this time....
Quad kit just landed through the letterbox so I will be using PWM and DSM2 on an orange R620 for now
I expect the CPPM output RX will not land till Tuesday at the earliest..I may have the kit assembled by then...
Regards
Rob
