RG405 coax, anyone use it? was created by grnd flyr
Kinda curious about using it to connect antenna modules in my 7E, stumbled across it this last weekend when looking for DIY antenna info.

Didn't want to pollute the In search of the ultimate Devo7E by PhracturedBlue thread with this question, but seemed like it might fit the "ultimate" part.

My nRF24L01P+PA+LNA module has a Female SMA plug on it so getting/making a rg405 cable for that will be easy.

Harder (maybe impossible) to find is/was a male u.Fl connector that would fit onto 2.64mm diameter cable... possible to solder the cable onto a u.Fl SMT pad? Maybe solder short wire wrap wire to the pads, then solder the other end the cable center conductor & outer braid? De-solder the u.Fl pads from the 8S module & solder cable to tiny 8S pads?

Even worth the effort?

Any other ideas or pics?
thanks
