DSM2 does not support auto-binding.
If Fixed ID is set to None, a transmitter-specific ID is used instead. It is necessary to manually bind each model before the first use.
What does it mean ?
How do I bind with my Devo 10 flashed with v4.0.1?
can someone provide me a video or procedure how to bind it ?

There is no difference if DSM2 or DSMx.
Spektrum transmitter manuals (e.g DX6, DX8) describe the bind process with the bind plug.
Only the DSM2 quick connect / brown-out feature (orange blinking led) works different than for DSMx receivers.
Existing "auto-bind" thread and two linked Mantis bug tracker links (the 2nd described the DSM2 quick connect / brown-out detect):

"Auto-bind" in protocols that support it is a feature where you can set the Fixed ID to None, and the Tx will come up and bind with any available receiver. This is convenient if you want to fly lots of aircraft with one model on your transmitter, or if you are using a transmitter without multiple model support. It's also dangerous, as you can wind up flying an aircraft with the wrong - and completely inappropriate - model file. For instance, any simple four-channel aircraft using a helicopter model that does swash mixing.
As noted, neither DSM protocol supports autobinding. Deviation treats the fixed id of None as just another possible value for the ID.

Yes. DSM2 and DSMX will work with a non-modified "deviated" Devo 10. I think the auto-bind thing is just confusing the issue; it just means that to bind the first time you need to plug in the bind plug, after that it'll bind whenever you turn it on. The stock Walkera protocol allows you to bind the first time WITHOUT a plug by using "auto-bind".liliass wrote: So DSMX OrangeRX R615X work out of box with Walkera Devo 10 ?
