BIG plans for my Devo 10 was created by niteliter
I have 3 Blade 400's ( its a nostalgia thing),an Esky CPV2,2 CX20's,and just ordered a Walkera V450D03,ALL of which I plan to run from this Devo 10,I am finding its not at all a "plug and play" thing,my best option would be to switch out alll the RX's for Devo Rx's,thats my quess, next,I was told that a DEVO 10 needs to have a 10 or more channel RX or more to work?Im NOT seeing that.
Also in the near future I want to hook up the WK-CTL01-D to my HIGH climbing CX20,but when i opened the box, there were no GPS or 3 pin plugs?Guess I be doing alot of info searching........

The Blade 400 gyros are not that top, aren't they?
Blade 4503D already uses MEMS G210. It is not top notch either.

Your V450 will use the Walkera FBL.
How good are the cyclic + tail servos? Do you not have to exchange them with new MG ones?

Do you really think that the Walkera FBL can be compared to Spirit System FBL, BeastX Plus/Pro, V-Stabi NEO, Brain and kind of modern FBL systems? Rescue, Self-Leveling...auto-pitch on (3d) rescue...
I can't tell... I am not flying it.

The Blade 400 are paddle, right?

120 CCPM heli will work with DeviationTX of course. I am using it on Blade 450 3D.
But you may want to check out a Spartan Gyro?!

Personally I do not like 2 or 2 channel DSSS only systems.

I am more into Spektrum DSMx with telemetry flightlog.

I have a post about it (AR8000, TM1000) in the DSM telemetry support thread.

Of course you can set the model to 6-7CH only.
So I could bind with Spektrum AR600, AR6210.

You do NOT only have to use 10++ channel receivers.
You can set the channels up to 12CH (if you need).

You can also check out the FrSky (including telemetry) CC2500 threads...

Greetings

Thomas

1-No the 400 Gyro isnt all that it should be,overall on a scale of 1 to 20,I would have to give the Blade 400 a 7-1/2,but tats just my take.,Everyone I know that flies the 400 says I should have gotten away from it,and yes tey are right, but there is a challenge here,to make them all fly well, its getting to be a time consuming deal.thats why I thought I would give the V450 a try.
Im not sure how the V450 is,I didnt get it yet,but from what I have seen on youtube, once I get it setup RIGHT with the Devo 10,I hope to be spending more time flying amd less time fixing.
And yes the 400 has paddles.
Most of my flying time is with one of my CX20's,I havent flown a copter in 7 yrs,but I am now getting them air ready, but thats hard when u work 56 hours aweek.........

The V450 D01 and D03 are fine birds. The servos don't need replacing at all. (I have both and have crashed both).

As for comparing their FBL / RX unit - I've converted my Blade 400 to FBL and after trying a few controllers settled on the Walkera RX2703V-D purely because its plug and play. No settings to play around with. Tail hold is great. Gyros are adjustable on the RX.

Out of the box my D03 was ready to fly. No adjustments needed. I've flown in extremely hot weather and windy weather and its shown no signs of faltering. Nearing 45 flights on it now.

I fly my birds with a Devo 10, Deviation, CC2500 module and NRF24L module. Protocols - DSM2, HiSky, V2x2, Skyartec and Walkera.

No, that is a listing for two(2) A7105 modules, and at 0dBm transmitting is a low power one at that. No PA or LNA on that particular module.

Ebay sellers are notorious for listing multiple different modules in the listing subject line other than those that are actually being sold in that particular listing. They do this to get more search hits for them. A crappy way to do business, if you ask me. You need to carefully read them all the way through to be certain what you are really buying!

DEVO 10 - Multi-module with nRF24L01 +PA +LNA, A7105 +PA, & CC2500 +PA +LNA transceivers.

I used the main shaft on the B400 - not the one that came with the head. Head fitted it perfectly.

Once the head is fitted you'll need a fbl controller. I used the B400 rx and right now a K-bar fbl. Or you can use a combined rx/fbl unit like the Walkera RX2703V-D or X303V.
