New platform for DIY? was created by robca
I just noticed this on GoodLuckBuy
www.goodluckbuy.com/6ch-2-4g-remote-cont...rplane-car-boat.html
If the joysticks are of decent quality, it might provide a starting point for a "hacker's platform" Devo... I wonder what processor it uses

At that price and the way that looks, it probably uses an Atmega 8 or something..

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

Yeah, but even if it does, that's not a bad price for the hardware/gimbals/etc, and plugging in an ARM ยต-controller board (a maple mini clone, or a Teensy 3.1 if you're feeling flush about it) would give you something capable of running deviation. Might make an interesting toy if you wanted to play with hardware additions without having to use a real devo Tx.
