Since no one else has answered, I'll say that it should if you install deviationTx on your 8s. It's a DSMX satellite, and we support that protocol. People have reported the R110X as working.
However, both it and deviationTx are running unlicensed clone firmware. No information on whether OrangeRx tests against other clone firmware is available, and being a non-profit open source project, devaitionTx relies on it's users for compatibility testing. So no guarantees, and if you try it, please let us know!
