Please suggest 2200kv motor for my plane. was created by mzbeg
Hi every body, I am building FT Tiny Trainer, being newbee, please suggest a motor 2200kv 250 size, also 12 amp or above ESC and a battery of 500 1000 mAh 3s. Many thanks.

I use the DYS 1806s and the ZTW ESCs on my FT Minis.. They're work well for me with a 5" prop on 3S, or a 6" prop on 2S.

Are you shopping for a motor or do you have some spare multirotor motors and ESC's laying around that you want to use because that's what you have?
If you have them already you can get by using an 1806 or 2204 motor with a 5 or 6" prop but neither are real ideal motor choices for a plane, to fast...

Might be overkill for the Tiny Trainer (probably is), but for my FT Duster (aka Dusty Crophopper) I use the
Turnigy D2826-6 2200kv
, running a 7x4 with a 30A no-name ESC + external BEC and 1800mAh 3S. Could probably do with a bit more size/weight on the batteries, using Australian foamboard I have to have the batt as far forward as it can go; foamboard available here is heavier and denser than the dollartree stuff, but more durable. Runs a little hot, but seems a good setup for any of the "normal" sized FT planes, eg. the Duster, Racer, Spitfire, Versa etc.
