I just did the 3x2 switch mod on my new Devo 7E. I activated the mod in the hardware.ini and everything actually works. But when I go to USB mode, upload/update a model and restart sometimes the hardware.ini gets corrupt and the extra switches don't work. After going to USB mode and reuploading the hardware.ini (with mod activated) everything works again.
Why is my hardware.ini going empty?

Did you format the USB drive at some point? Is your 7e battery fresh? These are two of the most common failures.

Hi,I'm new to the forum. I have the same problem.
I have a Devo 7e, 3in1 module and two switch 3 positions.
I connected to USB and after loading model.ini, hardware.ini has disappeared.
The problem is I do not have a copy. I didn't know its needed, and the friend who installed me did not let me know
How can I fix it? Thanks
