AR636 DSMX - Will it work? was created by billmester
Hi,
I am about to buy this: Parkzone Su-29MM
It has an AR636 DSMX SAFE receiver/gyro installed, and comes as a BNF.
Anyone has some experience with this controller? Will it work?
Thanks

With any new store bought model it's impossible to say for sure. At any time HH (spektrum) could decide to implement some new "feature" that makes our hacked radios no longer work but having said that as a disclaimer; I'd be willing to spend my own money on it if I wanted one. I'm 99.9% sure it'll work. DSMX has been DSMX for a long time, I really doubt they'd change it up now. They're huge on backwards compatability (i.e. DSM2)

I have a D10 with 2 modules installed, running 4.0.1.
It seems to me that the AR636 is a standard unit, available separately as well. If it is standard dsmx, I am lucky.
